Description: On International E-waste Day 2024, learn more about the International Telecommunication Union's (ITU) latest global e-waste policy support project, financially supported by the Communications, Space & Technology Commission of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Through a campaign on social media and internet news, ITU intends to highlight the urgent need for effective e-waste management frameworks. By showcasing successful initiatives to develop and implement e-waste regulation in Paraguay, Rwanda and Zambia, the campaign will inspire individuals and communities to actively participate in e-waste retrieval and recycling efforts. By establishing effective, sustainable e-waste management systems in these countries, the project aims to create a replicable framework that can be adopted by other countries, paving the way for a future where digital innovation and environmental stewardship go hand in hand.

Description: We will take part in the offical campaign of the WEEE Forum and also do some social media activities to promote the goal of the International E-Waste Day. Also we will publish our life-cycle-analysis arround the International E-Waste Day as well as our study on consumer behavior (topics: repair, reuse and recycling in consumer behavior).
