Description: C-SERVEES, is a Horizon 2020 funded project, that is developing and testing new circular business models for four products: washing machines,  televisions, printers and an access monitoring device used in telecoms. The models are based on the principles of the circular economy and involve a rich consortium that includes research organisations, manufacturers (based in Germany, Hungary & Turkey), WEEE recyclers and ICT developers.  Amongst other things, the new business models will seek to prevent e-waste through design for longevity, repair and refurbishment.

We have reached an exciting stage in the project where new products are being developed and the circular economy business models are being tested.

On International E-Waste Day, we will launch an animation outlining the project and its aims, objectives and results so far.

Description: Metal Shredder Hungary’s main activity entails reprocessing, reuse and trade of precious metal containing electronic waste, also the efficient recovery of precious metals and complex recycling of energy storage devices containing lithium.

We will organise online awareness raising activities around e-waste reuse, collection and recycling and take place collections and promotional activities in the universities, in technical and service stores.

We will  share on social media what materials can be typically recovered from an electrical equipment and energy storage device.

To promote these activities, we publish an article in the "Green Industry Magazine", which has a circulation of 3000.
