Description: As a WEEE project working under the fund of EU, we are implementing a set of awareness activities regarding e-waste lasting for 10 days, including awareness messages and articles published on the project's and partners' social media channels, broadcasting radio spots with awareness messages illustrating impacts of e-waste burning, awareness lectures targeting municipalities staff, schools teachers, environmental clubs coordinators, and field health officers (these educational employees will in turn transmit the knowledge to students), besides, women are targeted by our awareness lectures as they are playing a fundamental role in building knowledge of their families and affecting the whole society. Our activities are implemented in cooperation with the Palestinian Environment Quality Authority, Ministry of Education and municipalities, as a part of our partnerships with local authorities.
