Description: ecoins® is the first regional and virtual program that gives value to sustainability. We encourage people and orgnizations to recycle their recoverable waste and deliver it #CleanDrySeparated to authorized collection points. We do it through an incentive system, in which we grant points for the collected material. This points, called ecoins, can be exchanged for discounts and raffles on products and services from participating businesses. During October we credit 5 times more ecoins than usual for the recycled e-waste, encouraging greater participation during the Costa Rican WEEE-TON campaign.

Description: RAEE Costa Rica is an initiative of the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Environment and Energy, the Electronic Waste Project of Latin America (PREAL) and other allied organizations, which aims to provide information on the prevention of generation and correct management of e-waste. We cover its importance, the responsibility of each participant according to national legislation, and the most relevant news on the subject in order to move increasingly towards a circular and collaborative economy, in which all resources are used with the least possible impact on health and the environment. During October we promote the WEEE-TON, a national campaign that encourages people and organizations to deliver all their e-waste to authorized reception centers, thus contributing to its proper management.
