Description: We're excited to announce our participation in International E-Waste Day in Iceland by promoting sustainable practices regarding electronic waste. As a leading electronics retailer, we are committed to making a positive impact on our environment.

This year, we're focusing on three key initiatives:

  1. Buyback Program for Old Smartphones: Trade in your old smartphones with us to ensure responsible recycling.

  2. Cord Recycling Drive: Bring in your old and unused electronic cords for recycling, helping us keep harmful waste out of landfills.

  3. Extend the Life of Your Devices: Protect your smart devices with our high-quality protection films, ensuring they last longer and reduce the need for replacements.

Business collection

Description: We picked 10 of our big customers and offered them a special bin for e waste and separate one for batteries for free for one month from 14th of October. The bins will be located in the offices or the canteens in these companies for employees to hand in their e waste from home. Those companies operate in different sectors, but are all large, with many employees.
We hope to collect a great amount of e waste and look forward to see the result in 14th of November.
We also hope that these companies decide to keep the bins and continue collecting e waste from their employees for times to come.

About

The WEEE Forum a.i.s.b.l. is an international association representing 51 producer responsibility organisations across the globe. Together with our members, we are at the forefront of turning the extended producer responsibility principle into an effective electronic waste management policy approach through our combined knowledge of the technical, business and operational aspects of collection, logistics, de-pollution, processing, preparing for reuse and reporting of e-waste. Our mission is to be the world’s foremost e-waste competence centre excelling in the implementation of the circularity principle.
