Public Campaign - Radio news, Social media, Webinar
Elektronikos perdirbimas will participate in International E-Waste Day 2025 by taking part in the radio and online program “What is Your CO2 Footprint?” on Žinių radijas (link). During the broadcast, we will raise awareness about the environmental risks of improper screen disposal and explain how displays and monitors are safely dismantled, separated, and sorted to enable further recycling.
As part of the campaign, Elektronikos perdirbimas will also engage with European Commission policy makers in an interview on the recyclability of displays. This high-level exchange will contribute to shaping EU approaches to display recycling while raising awareness of Lithuania’s role in advancing responsible e-waste management.

The WEEE Forum a.i.s.b.l. is an international association representing 49 producer responsibility organisations across the globe. Together with our members, we are at the forefront of turning the extended producer responsibility principle into an effective electronic waste management policy approach through our combined knowledge of the technical, business and operational aspects of collection, logistics, de-pollution, processing, preparing for reuse and reporting of e-waste. Our mission is to be the world’s foremost e-waste competence centre excelling in the implementation of the circularity principle.
