The project is designed as a platform for the collection and recycling of hazardous waste such as WEEE and batteries (e-Waste), strategically working towards empowering and encouraging project beneficiaries to adopt sustainable practices and green their work.
This year, in the context of International e-Waste recycling day, AWR with the support of the GEF Small Grants Program and UNDP, also with the participation of local NGOs, academic and public sector and national operators, will organize an virtual event dedicated to the subject "e-Waste education for the next generation".

This year, in the context of International e-Waste recycling day, AWR with the support of the GEF Small Grants Program and UNDP, also with the participation of main parteners Ecodigital, Moldrec, EcoRecycling and The Ecology College, also inlcuding all the projects beneficiaries, will start the national information and collection campaign of e-waste, which will run till the end of October. The main objective is to collect as more as possible e-waste, especially from rural areas and to empower the citizens for an apropriete e-waste management.

By day, have been created 62 points for e-waste collection in Republic of Moldova - https://e-circular.org/harta-puncte-colectare/. Totally with the partner of the project "E-Circular training and consultancy center" on the map could be find 200 collection points at national level. The project is designed as a platform for the collection and recycling of hazardous waste such as WEEE and batteries (e-Waste), strategically working towards empowering and encouraging project beneficiaries to adopt sustainable practices and green their work.
