Description: My name is Muhammad Farooq from Pakistan, I have completed 5 courses on e-waste offered by Climate-KIC supported by EIT a body of the European union. I contribute to articles in the print media continuously on different topics. This year on 14th October 2020, I am writing article on e-waste serious issue to raise the awareness for general public and encourage consumers about the hazardous effects of e-waste on human body, nature and circular economy as well as the importance of recycling of e-waste to achieve the SDGs of UN and safer environment for future generation. I also visit the local retailers/collectors of e-waste and informed about the protective measures for their workers and dangerous effects of unsaved/sub standard way of collection of e-waste material. .
