  • Implement the Legislation regarding the management – collection – processing – recycling of WEEE.
  • Widely inform the professional and consumer public about the feasible way and the benefits of recycling in the context of the value of environmental protection

In order to fulfil this informative mission, FOTOKIKLOSI S.A. has been, since 2011, among other activities, visiting schools and educating children about the proper treatment of WEEE all over Greece. In 2016 they collaborated with a writer and created a book called ‘The guardians of nature: Fotis, Fotoula and Fotokiklosi’ an ecological educating tale. Alongside they collaborate with a theatrical team which consists of 4 professional actors that put into life the book and young children learn in a funny and educative way, the benefits of the proper treatment of WEEE and circular economy.

The positive effects of the project are obvious because more than 750 schools and 37.000 students have attended the program and more and more want to take part. FOTOKIKLOSI S.A. has also observed that the areas where the project takes place, the WEEE collection rises, as well as the number of collection points.
