FOTOKIKLOSI S.A. is a non-profit collective scheme for WEEE management in Greece. It operates more than 9.500 collection points nationwide, paying particular attention to the hundreds of islands in the country. Their collection network consists of selected points such as local authorities, municipalities, retailers, supermarkets, banks, schools and universities.

In early 2024, a new TV campaign of FOTOKIKLOSI was launched under the slogan “Make the right move – Make recycling a reality” as part of an integrated communication campaign aiming to raise awareness and to inform children, professionals, and the public about the recycling of electric and electronic devices.

The campaign includes a television and radio spot, online promotion and informative actions with a 4-minute educational video for children.

The awareness campaign aims to engage, inspire, and motivate the public by providing examples, practical information and simple answers to questions such as:

• What do we recycle?
• Why do we recycle?
• What is the right way to recycle?
• Where can we recycle?

The campaign also encourages every small act of recycling and reinforces positive behaviour, by employing the creative vehicle of “magic power”; that is, the inner power that helps people making the right sorting gesture and makes recycling a reality. It is based on the invitation to install good habits and motivations within the citizens, explaining that every gesture matters and even small ones, when multiplied can have a great power.
