Dimitris joined the WEEE Forum as a Technical Advisor in March 2023 and is part of the technical department. His main responsibility as a Technical Advisor at the WEEE Forum is leading the technical part of WEEE Forum in two EU funded projects, LIFE ECOSWEEE and WEEE-NET9.

Dimitris is an Environmental Engineer with an MSc in Systems of Energy and Environmental Management. He is based in Athens, Greece, and has 14 years of professional experience in the environmental sector such as e-waste, solid waste management and in various environmental & renewable energy projects. The WEEE management is his main field of expertise as he has worked in the Environmental Department of Appliances Recycling, a PRO in the WEEE Forum, for almost ten years. His main responsibilities were the monitoring and environmental evaluation of the activities of the company.  He has also worked in two EU funded projects, “LIFE Infocycle” and “LIFE Reweee”. He is a certified WEEELABEX auditor.

Dimitris speaks Greek (native), English, French and German.
