Technical Advisor

Enikő Hajósi joined the WEEE Forum as a Technical Advisor in 2014 and is part of the Technical department of the WEEE Forum. She is knowledgeable in the WF-RepTool programme and the Key Figures Database, is managing the WEEE Directory and the LibraWEEE websites and provides WEEE related technical advice for EU funded projects in which WEEE Forum participates. She has worked/is working on the following EU funded projects: Ecovitrum (LIFE), E-AIMS (Eco-Innovation), Countering WEEE Illegal Trade (FP7), ReVolv (Eco-innovation), Prospecting Secondary Raw Materials in the Urban Mine (H2020), C-SERVEES (H2020) and CEWASTE (H2020).

Enikő completed her bachelor´s degree in Economics at the Budapest Business College (Hungary) at the faculty of Foreign Trade in 1999, and holds a master’s degree in Environmental Sciences and Policy (2001, Central European University, Budapest). After graduating, she worked at different environmental NGOs in Hungary examining environmental investments of the world’s leading banks. For 7 years, she was the operations manager of Electro-Coord Hungary, the largest Hungarian WEEE compliance scheme, and, while in this role, developed her expertise in the WEEE sector and operational and legislative aspects of WEEE treatment - WEEE value chain, reporting, auditing. She is a qualified WEEELABEX auditor.
