Philip Morton

Global Ambassador

Dr Philip Morton is Global Ambassador for the WEEE Forum tasked with reaching out to WEEE sector organisations across the world to promote the WEEE Forum and mutual learning in WEEE related issues. He is co-owner and founder of ASQMOR Limited an environmental and educational consultancy company based in the UK.

Philip is immediate past President and Chairman of the board of the WEEE Forum and served as director of the WEEE Forum for many years until the end of 2016. He also served as supervisory board member of WEEE Europe GmbH

Prior to this Philip was CEO of Repic Limited from its foundation in 2004 until 2016. Based in the UK, Repic is the second largest WEEE system in Europe and also covers batteries and packaging for its producer members.

Philip was a member of the UK Environment Agency Industry WEEE Operational Liaison Group and of the WRAP steering group looking at best practice in collection and treatment of WEEE. He was also a member of the UK Government WEEE Advisory Body.

Prior to joining Repic, Philip was Managing Director of Cleanaway Limited (now Veolia) which was the third largest waste company in the UK and before this was a Board member of Archimica Ltd, the largest division of BTP plc a FTSE 250 Fine Chemical company.

Philip has a PhD in Chemistry and speaks English (native) and some Spanish.
