Description: We are planning to participate in the International E-waste day by distributing a press release to public and business digital and print media, referring to the extent of the global e-waste problem, the WEEE Forum's role and initiative for the specific day and the results of Appliances Recycling SA throughout the years.
We are also going to promote two special posts on Facebook and Instagram (one pre- and one post-International E-Waste Day) plus one post on LinkedIn on the specific day, using the visual and the hashtag #ewasteday .

Apart from the above-mentioned activities, during October our annual integrated communication programme will be on air, including our national brand building TV campaign "a small move of great importance", our online activities along with an activation about the recycling benefit of dangerous substances' reduction and a radio campaign in Athens & Salonica about lamp recycling.

Description: An event will take place at two schools that are located at the center of Athens where more than 400 children will attend.

During the event an employee of the System will talk about WEEE proper management, how to find the collection points, how to dispose properly the WEEE and about proper treatment. Afterwards they will have the opportunity to watch a theatrical interactive play by 4 professional actors. The theatrical play is based on the book ‘the guardians of nature: Fotis, Fotoula and Fotokiklosi’, an ecological educating tale for young children to learn in a pleasant way, the benefits from proper treatment of WEEE and circular economy in a funny and educative way
