Description: ECOTIC will be undertaking a series of activities around the country on International E-Waste Day 2019 and in the week before and the week after, among them:

-School campaigns and WEEE collection.
-Visit to a recycling plant for journalists.
-Awareness raising campaign with various EEE manufacturers focused on small WEEE and batteries.
-Presentation of results of survey "WEEE Generated in Romania" with the Environment Ministry.
- Campaign on batteries and small WEEE collection with a major retailer.
-ECOTIC Caravan in Bucharest for a week.

In addition, ECOTIC will also run a social media campaign and promote the International E-Waste Day with Romanian media.

Description: Environ will join this year's International E-waste Day and will be organising a few activities:

• social media campaign promoting e-waste collection and online poll regarding recycling habits


• ecological education workshops with students in one shopping center


• movie projection dedicated for business partners

Description: i. Organization of Public Collection Days in several big cities of Romania, in partnership with the local authorities, with a communication campaign in the press and online before and after the events.


ii. Activities with schools that have had good performances within the Recycling Patrol Program – 1 month public awareness and information campaign.

Description: With the occasion of E-WASTE International Day, we have the opportunity to inform and encourage residents of Campia Turzii, Cluj County, about the option of disposing electrical and electronic equipment, with the certainty that they will be recycled at the GreenWEEE facility, near the city.

As people are preparing for the autumn cleaning, we give them the opportunity to associate this moment with another type of event and support the environment through their actions of recycling.

The collection campaign also have a social message: with the help of the community, the organizers will donate five new computers to an ONG dealing with young children with disabilities.

Campaign Goals are for communication:
(I)Awareness of the beneficial role of recycling of electronic waste for the environment; (II)Assessment: people who can associate recycling with one or more benefits; (III) Increase information about the possibility of collecting in the city and recycling to GreeWEEE facility. The collection goals is to increase the quantities of electric and electronic waste.
