Description: The 4th environmental forum will be done in collaboration with "UNITEC Campus Sur "which the main purpose is providing to the students of this comunity  information about the Integral and Environmentally Appropriate Management of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment.

Also, to explain requirements established in the Stockholm Convention, specifically addressing the emission of Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) in electronic waste during the recycling, dismantling and treatment processes, as well as the treatment and environmentally correct disposal of obsolete pesticide deposits with POPs.

Moreover will be discussed about the regulatory issue regarding electrical and electronic waste in the Mexico City as well as some of the good practices and opportunities to establish an environmentally correct management. In this instance UNITEC  will explain in the forum, its commitments to be exercised for sustainable development.

Also, we are launching a social media campaign to raise more citizens awarness, sharing information about recycling and the need to care for electronics to extend the life of the products.
