Description: To raise public awareness and educate about the growing e-waste problem as well as encourage consumers to recycle their e-waste, AST Recycling in collaboration with Miss Earth South Africa will be launching a social media campaign called "Rethink E-waste".

A collaborative e-waste project will also be executed where AST Recycling e-waste bins will be allocated at a school for collections to be done. A twinning programme will be created with a private and semi-private school in
need of the funds from the collected waste. AST Recycling will double the amount that will be collected from e-waste to support the underprivileged school. Any equipment that we will be able to repair and refurbish from e-waste collection will be donated to the underprivileged school.
