Public Campaign - Social media, News release

Description: With electronic waste containing a mixture of harmful substances and precious materials, ensuring they are properly collected, treated and recycled is of utmost importance to preserve our health and the environment. But, what happens once our appliances are taken to the collection center? After many years of loyal service helping families around the home, how does their daily life at the retirement home a.k.a. collection center, look like? How does the magic happen?

A short series of explanatory videos, accompanied by more traditional information materials, will guide consumers through the journey of our home buddies, once they have reached their end-of-life, with an eye to shed light on core issues like the scarcity of critical raw materials and the effects of consumer behavior on global warming and health risks.
