Description: #GreenWeek is an initiative of the ECOLEC Foundation to raise awareness and inform citizens about the need for proper environmental management of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).
The #GreenWeek initiative has the institutional support of local entities, municipalities, mainly, to fulfill the purpose of the action through information stands on public roads.
The stands have environmental informants who encourage passers-by to deposit WEEE, mainly small electrical appliances, that they may have in their homes in the containers of the #GreenWeek information stands.
#GreenWeek has been in development since 2017 and, as of 2018, the ECOLEC Foundation undertakes to plant a tree, in a protected natural area, for each kilogram of WEEE collected during the initiative.

Description: Recyclia, through the Ecoasimelec foundation and in collaboration with Leroy Merlin began on May 17, coinciding with World Recycling Day, a joint campaign of awareness and citizen awareness with the aim of informing about the environmental benefits of repairing or recycling devices when they reach the end of their useful life.

The messages, which are especially focused on small power tools, were disseminated through three Youtube channels experts in electronics and DIY: Bricocrack, Rocha KRG y Domoeletrica. In addition, gift vouchers were raffled through these channels to be exchanged for products in any Leroy Merlin store.

The contest ended on June 14 and achieved great success with more than 100,000 views in the first week.

The campaign continues and has one main objective:

Citizen awareness: Inform citizens about the positive impacts generated by the repair of electrical appliances and the correct environmental treatment when the device cannot be repaired.

Description: From October 14 to November 14, we will place small waste collectors in all our main offices in Madrid and Barcelona, and we will also include a space for the recycling of light bulbs and batteries. These containers will be at the service of our employees so that they can easily and simply recycle these items that we usually have accumulated at home and very rarely recycle them properly. Through our social networks we will provide awareness tips for our followers and advice on how to make the recycling of this waste a reality.

The collection and the awareness-raising  action will be done in collaboration with Ecoasimelec, Ecofimática and Ecopilas.
