Description: The cellular phone company ENTEL will carry out the RAEETON Campaign with the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima. There will be an interactive stand of games that teach about the correct management of WEEE. WEEE will be collected in our bin and prizes will be given to those who deliver WEEE and/or participate in our games.

Se contará con un stand interactivo de juegos que enseñen sobre la correcta gestión de RAEE. Description: In commemoration of the International WEEE Day, a hybrid Seminar (face-to-face and virtual) will be held, with the aim of providing information on the progress and challenges in the implementation of the specific regulations on WEEE and promoting the greater involvement of all the actors of the WEEE value chain, as well as encourage the culture of recycling in the general population and promote the minimization and recovery of waste.
En conmenoración del Día Internacional de los RAEE se realizará un Seminario híbrido (presencial y virtual), con el objetivo de brindar información sobre los avances y desafíos en la implementación de las normas específicas sobre RAEE y propiciar el mayor involucramiento de todos los actores de la cadena de valor de RAEE, así como, incentivar en la población en general, la cultura del reciclaje y promover la minimización y valorización de los residuos.
En conmenoración del Día Internacional de los RAEE se realizará un Seminario híbrido (presencial y virtual), con el objetivo de brindar información sobre los avances y desafíos en la implementación de las normas específicas sobre RAEE y propiciar el mayor involucramiento de todos los actores de la cadena de valor de RAEE, así como, incentivar en la población en general, la cultura del reciclaje y promover la minimización y valorización de los residuos.

Description: To celebrate International E-waste Day, a wide range of activities will be carried out under the UNIDO-GEF LAC E-waste project (PREAL), including a media tour visiting two WEEE management plants in Guatemala and interviews with plant managers. Further, a number of events are set to take place in Peru with the involvement of various entities and stakeholders. In Costa Rica, various social media campaigns and awareness raising initiatives will be held, among other activities.
