Description: Recipo in Sweden, Norway and Denmark are jointly financing The Recyclable Advert with Elkretsen, BIF, Renas, Norsirk, ERP-Norway and ERP-Denmark for an information campaign during the week of IEWD.

This years' campaign introduces the concept of being 'circular' through re-use and recycling. Being a circular campaign, The Recyclable Advert will be re-using footage from previous campaigns, with a new Voice Over.

As usual, the campaign is free for all organisations to use and share on their SoMe platforms in Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

Members Photo Competition

Description: EERA are holding a competition for Members to collect and share photographs from Members with the topic “Unusual Small E-WASTE discoveries

Between now and the 6th September we have asked Members to take a look around their facilities, or local municipal collection sites or locality etc. to find good examples of old / unusual small WEEE.

The entries will be considered by the Board and the winners announced at our Members Meeting on 4th Oct. and the winning photos shared on our Social Media on the 14th Oct to celebrate the Int. E-WASTE event.

Our Members operate over 800 E-WASTE re-use and treatment facilities in twenty-two countries across the continent of Europe.

  1. During 10-14th of October Office Management will encourage recycling of end of life electronics on LinkedIn

  2. During 13-14th of October we will provide a recycling station for electronics in our office building in Solna (Stockholm Region), encouraging both employees, other companys and vistors to recycle their end of life electronics. We do this together with TechData, FastPartner and maybe HP.

  3. The collected electronics will be recycled through our partner Office Recycling, by transports that are both fossil-free and environmental certified.
