We all have an old phone or two that we don't know what to do with so, EGO Technology would like to provide the chance for them to be reused/recycled for free. Once they get to EGO Technology they will be fully data-wiped and either refurbished (if in working order) or have resources extracted from them to be correctly recycled. All proceeds from this campaign will be donated to GreenPeace to help tackle climate change and save our planet.
We will also be raising awareness via social media about recycling mobile phones and how they can participate in this campaign for #ewasteday.

Description: Green Machine Computers are environmentally conscious IT specialists. Our aim is to divert all electronics away from landfill and fix them so they can be used again by people in need. Last year we donated over 500 devices to schoolchildren who were struggling to study at home during the Coronavirus lockdowns.

Our technicians build IT systems from the good quality parts that have been tested, we then donate the refurbished tech to schools/charities, or a small percentage gets sold on at a fraction of the cost compared to new models. Nothing goes to landfill!

In addition to this, we provide education to a multitude of audiences (ex-military veterans, individuals with learning difficulties, and students on work experience). We use the recycling process to teach people basic technical skills which help them to get into the workplace.

Description: Offering decades of experience in buying and selling refurbished IT equipment, we are proud to be an Authorised Treatment Facility (ATF) which means we can buy, refurbish or recycle your E-waste in house, securely destroying any data in the process using a variety of accredited methods.

As Part of raising awareness of IEWD we will be posting a series of IEWD messages and facts across our social media channels. As one of the only IT hardware suppliers in the UK with a technical refurbishment team and E-waste recycling plant in house, we are a truly circular business and send nothing to landfill, through our IEWD campaign we aim to encourage other businesses to become circular too.

As part of the IEWD campaign we will highlight that we offer generous rebates on e-waste as part of our refurbishment or recycling service, as an incentive to promote reuse and recycling of e-waste. (Some exclusions apply) Contact us today to arrange delivery to our facility or for a no obligation collection rebate quote.
