Description: We’re launching a social media campaign called “How to Be an Eco-Friendly Tech User”, designed to help people make smarter, greener choices when it comes to technology. From tips on repairing and reusing devices to advice on reducing digital carbon footprints, the campaign will share practical, everyday actions that individuals and businesses can take to be more sustainable with their tech.

By breaking down the often-overlooked environmental impact of our devices and digital habits, we want to raise awareness and inspire positive change. The campaign will run across our channels throughout the week, encouraging conversation and sharing resources with our community.

Description: In the UK, the Recycle Your Electricals campaign will run their annual Great Cable Challenge - a nationwide call to tackle the millions of cables and other electricals sitting idle across UK households, to save the valuable copper inside them from going to waste.

Across the UK, we have over 129m cables stashed away - unwanted and unused - enough to wrap Earth 3 times. By recycling our cables and other electricals stashed in our "drawer of doom", the copper and other precious materials can be reused again and again for vital things like phones, transport, clean energy and even medical equipment.

We will be calling on  local authorities, retailers, schools and community projects across the UK to take part in the challenge and help inspire people to recycle their old cables and other small electricals.
