Description: BluePoint Meet.Work.Tech. has been committed to environmental protection for many years. In 2013, the Brussels site was awarded the international "Green Key" label as an environmentally-friendly player in the event industry.

BluePoint also takes part in the annual collection of electronic waste organized by the WEEE forum and supported by Recupel, two BluePoint Brussels tenants. During the week of the event, BluePoint Brussels tenants can store their e-waste and take part in this collective effort.

Thanks to all these actions, and to the posters displayed in strategic locations, BluePoint is able to raise its customers' awareness of their water and energy consumption, and of waste sorting.

Description: The I4R platform enables the exchange of information between manufacturers, treatment facilities, and preparation for reuse/reuse operators of (W)EEE about the presence and location of materials and components that need separate treatment in accordance with the requirements set out in Annex VII and relying on Article 15 of the WEEE Directive, e.g. batteries, printed circuit boards or plastics containing brominated flame retardants.

This permanent, centralised, and up-to-date platform offers an easy to use communication tool that will help to further increase the recycling results in the electrical and electronic sector while reducing compliance cost for both manufacturers and recyclers.
