Description: Latin American Forum on Circular Economy and Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment On October 14, 2023, under the joint organization of Estrategia Circular MX, Recicla Electrónicos México, S.A. and the Environmentally Appropriate Management of Waste with Persistent Organic Pollutants (ResiduosCOP) Project of the United Nations Development Program, the first edition of the Latin American Forum on Circular Economy and electrical and electronic equipment waste was held, in the virtual modality. Its purpose was to make visible that people, companies, research centers, non-governmental organizations and governments can develop and implement strategies and business models based on the circular economy to influence the responsible production and consumption of electrical and electronic devices -AEE's- and, consequently, in extending its useful life and reducing WEEE's, which positively impacts the fulfilment of the goals of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of the 2030 Agenda, mainly, 12 "Production and Consumption Responsible” and 13 “Climate Action”, as well as other SDGs that are interconnected. The  Latin American Forum on Circular Economy and Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment will be held within the framework of World Electronic Waste Day #ewasteday, an initiative organized by the WEEE Forum, founded in April 2002 and currently considered as the world's largest multinational competence centre for WEEE management related operational know-how, as well as having developed high quality pan-European standards for collection, handling, storage, transport, preparation for reuse , processing and disposal of WEEE's and harmonized guidelines for verification of conformity.

Description: There will be a talk about invisible electronic equipment and the date will be presented to carry out the electronic computer recycling campaign in the month of December.

Description: Estrategia Circular MX, Earth & Life University and Ombudsman Energía México, A.C. co-organize the third edition of the Latin American Forum on Circular Economy and Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment.

With the participation of volunteers, sponsors, media partners, as well as a Selection Committee, during 6 days (October 9-14, 2023), will be presented in oral presentations and digital posters (video) the research work, as well as implementation and development of projects based on the circular economy that contribute to reduce the generation of WEEE.

Description: One of the main objectives of Recicla Electrónicos México, is to attend the globlal problematic ocassioned by e-waste, with a service based on a circular economy model.

Our activities will be focused to raise awarness on the enterprise sector, we will adress health and environment issues caused by obsolet electronics. This effort is going to adress better practices, and an adequate disposal of electronic devices, also some infographics of how to indentify certified recyclers, diference between illegal and real recycling companies, etc.

Besides that, we are launching a social media campaign for companies which consist of a series of discounts on our service, facilitating the collection of their equipment.
