Campaign "Un celular un árbol" ends on December 31. Activities related to the e-waste day will last the entire month of October

Activities:

Public Campaign - Social media, Public collection

Description: In collaboration with Telefónica México, Movistar México and Reforestamos México A.C. we are realizing a national campaing named "Un Celular un árbol",  where for every collected and recycled smartphone, a tree will be planted on one of the famous flora and fauna protections areas of México, "El Nevado de Toluca". The goal is to plant 5250 trees  that will be cared by forestal community brigades for a span of 3 years.

The campaign seeks the companies and citizens to be aware of the necessity to be more sustainable, to make an appropriate management of e-waste, and fulfill the goal to reforest the equivalent of 15 soccer fields.

Besides that, we are launching a social media campaign to let people know about the International Ewaste day and how easy is to recycle their old electronics with our free collection program.
