Description: Launched in 2010, E-Reciklaža has become the biggest WEEE recycling facility in the whole Balkan region. The main activity of the company is to recycle the waste of electric and electronic equipment. E-Reciklaža has international experience in waste management around the globe, regarding e-scrap materials disposal/treatment/recovery.
As part of IEWD, E-reciklaža will partner with the Center for the Promotion of Science in facilitating the workshop with the goal of educating children on the importance of waste disposal and recycling. This occasion will be used to involve the media in promoting sustainable development among the general public. Also, together with a local radio station, we will be organizing a cleanup of the region's favorite spot for picnic and recreation, the Hill of Kamenica, near the city of Niš. This activity is promoted through short announcements every hour on the radio and posted on social media platforms, with the purpose of raising awareness of the negative impact that e-waste has on natural habitats.
