Description: Electrão - Waste Management Association is the main take back system for electric and electronic equipment (EEE) operating in Portugal, with a market share of more than 60%, and it is the only entity managing three waste streams: electronics, batteries and packaging waste. For celebrating the International E-Waste Day 2021, we are planning some activities to raise awareness of the incorrect management of electronic waste, the need to promote a correct system of collection that maximises the recycling, and the impact of these on the environment and climate change, and in the context of the circular economy.

Between 11th and 15th October, we are planning to launch: a press campaign and press releases, a digital marketing and website campaign and promote a public collection campaign.
