Appliances Recycling SA is an official Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO) for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) management in Greece. The company is established on June 2004 by the leading Producers in the electrical/electronic field and operates in the Greek market. The role of the company is to organize, coordinate and supervise all stages of WEEE management chain, including collection, transportation, storage, reuse and treatment of WEEE, so that hazardous substances are eliminated after the proper waste management and recovered materials are streamed back into production.

Mission and objectives

The mission of Appliances Recycling SA is based on the principle that preventive action should be taken by the polluter, in order to rectify environmental damage at source. The company’s activities aim at the environmentally proper treatment of WEEE and the recovery of WEEE components in order to be used as raw material in the production of new products.
