ElektroEko is a non-profit joint stock company, established by the major businesses and organizations, associating producers and importers of household appliances, consumer electronics, IT equipment and lighting. This means that the goal of the shareholders who founded the company is not to generate profit but to establish an organization that will ensure an effective and proper fulfilment of statutory obligations with minimum operating costs. All proceeds generated by the company are invested in the establishment and expansion of the WEEE collection scheme, pickup, processing, reclaiming, recycling and neutralization system, as well as ecological education which is obligatory by law for the producers.

Collection and logistics system

ElektroEko develops a nationwide WEEE collection system. The WEEE is collected throughout following channels: trade organizations, treatment partners, scrap yards dealers, service points and municipalities. We also collect WEEE directly from the B2B channel.

Treatment partners

ElektroEko is cooperating with a constant number of treatment partners which ranges between 10-15. ElektroEko cooperates only with treatment partners that can assure conformity with the highest treatment standards. Results ElektroEko meets all targets regarding collection and recycling, which are set by the Polish act on WEEE.
